Terms and Conditions
1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made by you (the purchaser) from Best Behaviour Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By using this website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms at any time, and changes will apply from the date they are published on this site.
2. Responsible Service of Alcohol
This website sells alcoholic beverages.
You must be 18 years or older to enter, browse, or purchase from this website.
By purchasing, you confirm that you are 18 years or older and that your order complies with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
Deliveries must be received by a person aged 18 or over.
We support responsible drinking. Visit www.alcohol.org.nz for more information.
3. Pricing and Availability
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
Prices may change without notice.
Products are subject to availability. If a product is unavailable after an order is placed, we will notify you and offer a refund or substitution.
If a pricing error occurs, we may cancel the order and refund any payment received, or at our discretion honour the incorrect price.
4. Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.
We accept secure online payments via approved payment providers.
If a credit card is used, you indemnify us against any loss resulting from the card provider’s failure to honour payment.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We deliver within New Zealand only.
Shipping costs are shown at checkout.
Orders are processed within 2–3 working days once payment is confirmed.
Delivery is complete when the goods reach the address provided at the time of order.
If products arrive damaged, notify us within 3 working days of delivery.
We are not responsible for courier delays, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.
6. Returns and Refunds
We stand behind the quality of our products and comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
- Returns are accepted within 30 days for goods that are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.
- Products must be unopened and in original condition.
- Sale items and opened bottles cannot be refunded unless faulty.
- To request a return, email hello@bestbehaviour.co.nz with your order number and photos if applicable.
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method once the return is approved.
- Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the product is faulty or sent in error.
If you have not received an approved refund within 10 working days after our confirmation, please contact your bank or card provider before getting in touch with us again.
7. Competitions and Giveaways
From time to time we run promotions or giveaways through our website or social media channels.
By entering, you agree to the following:
- Entrants must be 18 years or older and live in New Zealand.
- Competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or Instagram.
- Winners will be chosen at random or as otherwise stated in the entry details.
- Winners will be contacted via the method provided at entry. If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days, another may be selected.
- Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
- By entering, you consent to your name, image, and social handle being used for promotional purposes.
- We may amend, suspend, or cancel a competition if required by law or due to circumstances beyond our control.
8. Newsletter Subscriptions
By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive emails about products, promotions, and events.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in our emails or contacting us.
We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, courier disruptions, or government restrictions.
